LOAN TYPESLoan types
Five types, different tax and limit regimes. Pick the one you are after; calculate in the Bankacı app, then post a request on the same terms.
Personal loan
An unsecured consumer loan not tied to a purpose. Amount and term are bounded by the BDDK's maximum-term table by amount.
- Taxes
- KKDF 15% + BSMV 15% (on the interest)
- Limits
- Maximum term by amount band; the Board decision is in the table. bankaci.app ↗

- 3.72% bankaci.app ↗
Car loan
A loan for a new or used vehicle, secured on the car. How much of the car can be financed is capped by the invoice value.
- Taxes
- KKDF 15% + BSMV 15% (on the interest)
- Limits
- Loan-to-value ratio and maximum term by invoice value. bankaci.app ↗

Housing loan (mortgage)
A mortgage loan for buying a home. Tax-free and long-term, so the instalment is low and the total interest high; a rate difference changes the total a lot.
- Taxes
- No KKDF, no BSMV
- Limits
- Loan-to-value ratio by appraisal value and energy class. bankaci.app ↗

Mortgage refinancing (transfer)
Borrowing an existing housing loan again at a lower rate, usually at another bank. The decision comes from comparing the payoff amount, the early-payment compensation and the fees against the new plan's total.
- Taxes
- No KKDF, no BSMV
- Limits
- As for a housing loan; compensation 1% or 2% by remaining term. bankaci.app ↗

Business loan
Instalment, spot or revolving credit for companies and tradespeople. This site computes and takes requests for the instalment business loan.
- Taxes
- BSMV 5% (on the interest), no KKDF
- Limits
- The BDDK's consumer limits do not apply; subject to the bank's assessment. bankaci.app ↗
Frequently asked questions
Why are personal and car loans one option on the form?
They carry the same taxes and their rates move together; Bankacı's rate statistics publish the pair as one average too. Use the notes field to name the car in your request.
Where are the limits written?
The BDDK's maximum-term and loan-to-value tables in force, with the Board decisions behind them, are on Bankacı's legal-limits page and are updated as they change.
I don't know which type to pick.
The purpose decides: car loan for a vehicle, housing loan for a home, transfer to move an existing mortgage, business loan for a company, personal loan for everything else. Pick the closest when posting; the banker corrects it if needed.
