Car loan application
On a car loan the car sets the ceiling: banks look at its insured value and its age rather than at the price on the sticker. Leave your request and let bankers tell you how much they can lend on that car.
What the banks publish this week
11 banks publish a monthly rate between 2.99% and 4.79%.
Read from the banks' own pages on 20 September 2026. These are published rates, not offers.
Rates bank by bank →What the banker will ask for
- Identification
- Proof of income: a payslip, an SGK service record, or a tax registration certificate
- A proforma invoice for a new car, or a copy of the registration for a used one
- For a used car, its insured (kasko) value
- A comprehensive insurance policy — most banks require one while their lien is on the car
What decides the answer
- The car's insured value; the loan is capped against that, not against the sale price
- The age of the car — the older it is, the smaller the share that can be lent
- Whether the car is new or used
- Your Findeks score and the instalment as a share of your income
Common questions
Can I get a loan on a used car?
Yes, but the amount is capped by the car's insured value and its age, and most banks will not lend on cars over a certain age.
Can I borrow the full price of the car?
No. The loan as a share of the car's value is capped by regulation, and the cap changes with the value of the car.
Is comprehensive insurance compulsory?
Because the bank places a lien on the car, most banks require it for the life of the loan. The banker who takes up your request will tell you what their bank asks for.
Is there a fee?
Leaving a request is free. KrediBul charges nothing to the side looking for a loan.
KrediBul is not a bank. It does not lend, does not set rates and does not forward your request to a bank. What it does is show your request to bankers; the offer and the decision belong to the bank's own process.
